“It’s easier to believe in others, if you believe in yourself.”

Growing up local to Bristol, a city full of creatives, Chasing Doll’s work is heavily influenced by the city’s vibrant nightlife and local music scene.

‘Cobweb’ is a track that showcases the bands full range of talent, from the opening instrumentals through to their strong visual identity across platforms!

“The pretty, thought provoking guitar riff with the twinkle of the scene of a cobweb on that misty morning.”

The true standout of the track has to be their metaphorical uses of the delicate and intricate creation of a cobweb.

Emphasising its main function to provide comfort, and ultimately a home, Chasing Dolls associate this with their minds being a place to store and harvest your thoughts.

“The conquering yet comforting bass and fuzzy bouncy guitar rhythm and the off guard guitar riff all showing the motivation and relation of a mind trying to set.”

Further the band state that the track is “about the motivation to create a mindset that allows you to feel uplifted when understanding yourself in different situations”.

Not only does the self reflection within the track aid its listeners to a journey of self healing, its emphasise on the treatment of others shines through.

“Trying to remain comforted in different emotions, as a result allowing you to be empathetic to others.”

The blend of powerful instrumentals, captivating vocals, and use of storytelling is one that’ll place the band at the forefront of Bristol’s music scene for sure!
