Following on from what can only be described as a momentous 2023, the anticipated release of their single ‘Don’t Let Your Love (Let You Down)’ has gone beyond our expectations of the Herefordshire band.
From the release of their debut EP ‘Now In A Minute’, airtime on BBC Radio 1 with Jack Saunders and a UK tour, Pentire have kickstarted the year with impending sold-out shows as part of their biggest headline tour to date.
Now signed to indie label Scruff of the Neck, Pentire are very quickly becoming a name you need to know.
“a compelling sound, embracing the spirits of noughties indie”
Described as ‘an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation’, Pentire have crafted a compelling sound, embracing the spirits of noughties indie, delivering the ultimate festival season vibes in their recent releases; a highly-captivating musical blend reminiscent of The 1975 and Sea Girls.
‘Don’t Let Your Love (Let You Down)’ is an intoxicating three-minute haven of golden melodies, dreamy hues, and a healthy dose of anthemic energy for good measure, all of which Pentire are fastly becoming known for.
“their invitation to an infectious sonic journey”
The South West quartet weave narratives on youth, life, love and everything in between, and craft sounds that are both equally uplifting yet emotionally resonant.
Their punching relatability, and their invitation to an infectious sonic journey, put Pentire at the top of their game.
Pentire embark on their biggest headline tour to date at the end of the month, kicking things off at Falmouth’s Cornish Bank and ending things at Bristol’s renowned Thekla.
